Towne Lake Hills Golf Club is set within the Towne Lake Hills residential community in Woodstock, Georgia, on rolling, wooded terrain northwest of Atlanta. The course opened in 1994.
It was designed by Arthur Hills with design associate Mike Dasher, and it places a premium on accurate tee shots, especially on a strong set of par 4s. The par 5s vary in character, including a reachable downhill hole with a large tiered green and a long, winding closing hole. Elevated tees make some holes play shorter than their yardage suggests, and wind is a regular factor.
The club operates as a semi-private facility open to public play as well as members, with the course stretching to roughly 6,784 yards from the back tees and a full practice area on site.
