About this course

Tippecanoe Country Club was formed in 1920 along the shores of Lake Shafer in Monticello [1](https://www.indianagolf.com/golfcourses/tippecanoe-country-club #:~:text=Formed%20in%201920%2C%20it%20preceded%20the%20development%20of%20both%20lakes%20and%20dams). The facility was updated in 1961 when architect Pete Dye helped expand the course to 18 holes [1](https://www.indianagolf.com/golfcourses/tippecanoe-country-club #:~:text=most%20important%20change%20to%20the%20golf%20course%20was%20in%201961%20when%20Indianapolis%20architect%2C%20Pete%20Dye%2C%20helped%20install%20greens%20and%20tees). Dykeman Park Golf Course

Logansport, IN · 21 mi away

Dykeman Park Golf Course is a municipal course in Logansport, Indiana, on land donated to the city by the estate of Judge D.D. Dykeman, for whom it is named. The original nine holes opened in 1926, designed by William Langford and Theodore Moreau. A second nine was added in 1956, and the layout has kept its routing since, with a relatively flat front nine and a hillier, tree-lined back nine. Mature trees line most fairways and several holes play as doglegs. The course is open to public play year-round and hosts long-running local events, including the Logansport City Championship, held there since 1928. Golfers can walk or ride, and the course is managed by the Logansport Parks Department.

Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex - Kampen-Cosler

West Lafayette, IN · 26 mi away

Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex is a 36-hole public facility on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, comprising the Kampen-Cosler and Ackerman-Allen courses. Both eighteens were designed by Pete Dye, with Kampen-Cosler an original links-style Dye design and Ackerman-Allen a renovation of the university's historic South Course, originally built by Bill Diddle in 1934. Kampen-Cosler plays as a links-style, par-72 layout with vast bunkers, native grassland, ponds, and a natural celery bog, stretching to more than 7,400 yards from the back tees. Ackerman-Allen offers a more parkland setting with rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, and white sand bunkers, playing over 7,500 yards from its longest tees. The complex operates as a public facility with memberships available and has hosted NCAA championships, Big Ten championships, and PGA of America junior and professional events. A clubhouse and practice center support both courses.
