About this course
The Meadows Course is one of four golf courses at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, set in the valley below the Allegheny Mountains. The course began as a nine-hole layout called Lakeside, designed by Alexander Findlay and opened in 1911. It was redesigned by Seth Raynor in 1923, expanded to eighteen holes by Dick Wilson in 1962, and reworked again by Bob Cupp in 1999, when it took its current name.
After severe damage from a 2016 flood, The Meadows underwent a full restoration completed in 2017, adding new green complexes and the resort's signature stacked-sod bunkers while retaining mountain views throughout the round. The layout includes water from Howard's Creek and Swan Lake on several early holes and a mix of demanding par threes.
The Meadows operates as a resort course open to Greenbrier guests and members, with tee times arranged through the resort's golf department alongside the historic Old White and Greenbrier courses.

Lewisburg Elks Country Club is a public course just off Interstate 64 in Lewisburg, West Virginia, in the Greenbrier Valley. The front nine, now shorter and narrower than the back, dates to the 1930s, when it opened as the Greenbrier Valley Country Club; a second nine was added in the 1960s. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks purchased the club and renamed it in 1985. Water comes into play on five holes, and the small, undulating greens make the short layout more difficult than its yardage suggests. The course plays to a par of 70 and measures roughly 5,561 yards from the back tees. It hosts an annual state Elks tournament each June and has served as a West Virginia Golf Association qualifying site. The golf course, restaurant and pool are open to the public.
