The Dogwoods Golf Course is an 18-hole course in Grenada, Mississippi, built on more than 200 acres within Hugh White State Park along Grenada Lake. Designed by Gary Roger Baird of Global Golf Design and constructed by Wadsworth Golf Course Construction, the course opened for play in July 2006 and is operated by the city of Grenada. The par-72 layout stretches to about 7,000 yards and was carved from the surrounding forest with minimal clearing, giving it a hilly, wooded feel with undulating fairways and large Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens. Multiple tee boxes let golfers of varying ability choose their challenge. Amenities include a pro shop, driving range, putting green, practice bunker, and snack bar. The course has drawn recognition from Golf Digest for its value and design among Mississippi's public options.
