About this course
Mallard Pointe Golf Course is an 18 hole layout in Sardis, Mississippi, set along the shore of Sardis Lake. It was designed by architect Bob Cupp, whose other work includes Old Waverly Golf Club and Pumpkin Ridge, and the course was named one of the Best Places to Play by Golf Digest in 2004. The par 72 course stretches over 7,000 yards from the championship tees, with lakeside views on many holes. The facility is run through a lease from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks and includes two golf villas offering lodging for groups. Recent operators have focused on course improvements such as tree clearing for better airflow and visibility, along with tee sodding and clubhouse patio renovations. The course reopened in 2023 after a closure, and while conditioning has varied over the years, it continues to operate as a public facility.
