About this course
Old Greenwood is a golf course at Tahoe Mountain Club in Truckee, California, set among 600 acres of towering pines in the mountains near North Lake Tahoe. Designed by Jack Nicklaus as a Signature course, it opened in 2004.
The layout uses rolling terrain, numerous bunkers, and large, undulating greens across its 18 holes, including a redan-style par-3 that plays along a lake and a risk-reward par-5 guarded by a long fairway bunker and water near the green. The course has hosted a PGA Tour event, the Barracuda Championship, in 2022.
Old Greenwood operates through Tahoe Mountain Club's membership and resort structure, with cottage rentals on site and access available to members, resort guests, and pass holders rather than unrestricted daily-fee play.
