About this course

Swope Memorial Golf Course is a public, par-72 course in Kansas City's Swope Park, originally designed in 1934 by architect A. W. Tillinghast. The course hosted the PGA Tour's Kansas City Open in 1949, making it the only public course in the area to have staged a Tour event, and it was later restored to Tillinghast's original design. The roughly 6,274-yard layout features rolling, wooded terrain with skyline views of downtown Kansas City.
