Sugarwood Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Lavalette, West Virginia, in Wayne County. It opened to the public in 1965 as a nine-hole course, with the back nine added a few years later and further renovations completed in stages through 2012.
The layout plays to a par of 72 and can measure up to about 6,545 yards from the back tees, with tees ranging down to around 5,186 yards for shorter setups. Ed Allen, who acquired the course around 1979, led design changes to several holes during the renovation period.
