About this course

Scituate Country Club is a nine-hole golf course in Scituate, Rhode Island, founded in 1919 near the mouth of the North River. The club's clubhouse dates to 1779 and was originally the home of the Welsh family, whose farmland became the golf course. Surrounded by trees, marsh, river, and open water, the course is open to the public on Mondays for both golf and dining in the Grill Room, with membership available for regular access. Its combination of an 18th-century clubhouse and a century-old course makes it one of Rhode Island's more historic nine-hole clubs.
