Sawmill Woods Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-36 layout in Clifton, Maine, about 30 minutes from Bangor, Orono, and Ellsworth. Opened in 2004, it plays just under 2,900 yards through carved, tree-lined fairways, with four sets of tees on every hole and large greens that give the short course more variety than its yardage suggests.
