About this course

Sand Creek Country Club is a private golf club in Chesterton, Indiana, built on former Bethlehem Steel farmland near Indiana Dunes State Park. The original 18, now the Creek and Lake nines, was designed by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent and opened in 1976. A third nine, the Marsh, by Jerry Mobley and Charles Howard, opened in 1995. The 27 holes wrap around Sand Creek and several lakes, with bunkers and tree-lined fairways. Sand Creek was the first Indiana course to earn full Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification. Play is limited to members and their guests.
