About this course

Mindbreaker is one of four nine-hole courses that make up the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Silver Lakes near Anniston in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Alabama. The facility sits around Lee's Lake amid forests, wetlands and grasslands, with the Heartbreaker, Backbreaker and Short Course nines completing the complex.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Mindbreaker plays as a shorter, tighter companion to its sister nines, winding through woods and water with tee shots that demand accuracy over length. Greens are grassed with Champion Ultradwarf Bermuda.

The course is public and part of the RTJ Golf Trail, open daily with a pro shop, practice facilities and cart rental. It is typically combined with another nine to form an 18-hole round.
