About this course
Rivercut Golf Course is a municipal course southwest of Springfield, Missouri, bordering the James River and set among tree-lined meadows and rolling ground with several water features. It is one of three 18-hole courses operated by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.
The course was designed by architect Ken Dye and opened in 1998. Large, heavily contoured greens and multiple water hazards give the layout a championship feel while still serving as a everyday municipal facility for local golfers.
Rivercut plays to about 7,066 yards from the back tees. Practice facilities include a driving range with grass and turf areas, two putting greens, and a chipping and bunker area. Tee times can be booked up to a week in advance, and the course stays open year round except on Christmas Day.
