The Golf Club at Basin Harbor is part of the Basin Harbor resort on Lake Champlain in Vergennes, Vermont. Golf there dates to 1916, when resort owner Allen Penfield Beach laid out a few holes; Scottish professional Alex Campbell designed nine holes in 1927, and architect William Mitchell added nine more in 1955 to create the 18-hole course. Geoffrey Cornish later renovated the layout in the mid-1980s. The course measures 6,513 yards to a par of 72, set along the lake with views of the Adirondacks across the water.
