About this course
Porky Oliver Golf Club, formally the Ed "Porky" Oliver Golf Course, is an 18-hole public course in Wilmington, Delaware, occupying the original site of the historic Wilmington Country Club. A 100-year-old chimney near the 18th hole is the only remaining trace of that original layout.
The course was redesigned over the years by architects Alfred Tull and Edmund Ault, and it is named for Wilmington-born PGA Tour player Edward "Porky" Oliver, who started as a caddie in the city. It plays to about 6,115 yards from the back tees with a par of 70.
Owned by the City of Wilmington and managed by Rock Manor Golf Course Corporation, the course is open to the public and includes a clubhouse with a restaurant, banquet space, and pro shop, along with a practice putting green.
