About this course

Delcastle Golf Club is a public course on the west side of Wilmington, Delaware, in a suburban area between Newport Gap Pike and Limestone Road. It was designed by Edmund B. Ault and opened in 1971.

The course sits on rolling terrain with wide fairways and large bentgrass greens, built to challenge low handicappers from the back tees while remaining manageable for average and beginning golfers from the middle or forward tees. Several tee options bring the yardage down to around 5,200 yards for shorter hitters.

Delcastle is open to public play year round, with a clubhouse offering a pro shop, a bar area, and a banquet room, along with a separate miniature golf course on the property.
