About this course
Point Roberts Golf and Country Club occupies a parkland setting on the Point Roberts peninsula in Whatcom County, Washington, a small U.S. exclave south of Vancouver, British Columbia. The course was designed by Wayne Carleton and covers about 194 acres near the Canadian border.
After falling into financial difficulty and closing in 2017, the course was sold to new ownership and Carleton returned to lead a renovation that included re-turfing greens with bentgrass and rebuilding bunkers, tees and fairways; it reopened in 2018 under the name Bald Eagle Golf Club before later operating again as Point Roberts Golf and Country Club.
The layout runs through evergreens and ponds with eagles and deer commonly seen on the property, stretching to roughly 6,800 to 6,900 yards from the back tees. It is open to public play with a pro shop and clubhouse bistro.
