Patriot Golf Club
Owasso's top public course: proceeds benefit military families
About this course
The Patriot Golf Club is a public course in Owasso, Oklahoma, northeast of Tulsa, built on land known historically as Greenhill Farm within the Stone Canyon development. The course was conceived by Air National Guard pilot and PGA professional Dan Rooney as the home course of the Folds of Honor Foundation, which supports families of fallen and disabled service members.
The design was led by Robert Trent Jones II, with associates Bruce Charlton and Jay Blasi, and opened in 2009 on ground with roughly 250 feet of elevation change. The routing moves through limestone canyons, wooded ravines and open meadowland, weaving between prairie bluffs and lowland terrain in a naturalistic style.
The course plays 7,001 yards to a par of 71 and operates as a public club tied closely to its charitable mission, hosting events that benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.

Pecan Valley is one of two 18-hole courses at Mohawk Park Golf Course in north Tulsa, Oklahoma, sharing the city-owned facility with the Woodbine course. Built in the 1950s, Pecan Valley sits in Mohawk Park among mature trees near Bird Creek. The course features tight driving areas that require shaping shots, dense tree cover and water in play on a number of holes. Its front nine has been redeveloped into a shorter nine of par 3s and 4s used for First Tee youth instruction. Mohawk Park is a public, city-operated facility with a golf shop, driving range and food service, managed under contract with the City of Tulsa.
Mohawk Park Golf Course (Woodbine)
Tulsa, OK · 6.4 mi away
Woodbine is one of two 18-hole courses at the city-owned Mohawk Park Golf Course in north Tulsa, Oklahoma. Built in the late 1920s, it was redesigned in 1934 by Floyd Farley, who went on to design more than 100 courses in the region. Woodbine features mature oak and pecan trees, generous fairways and large greens, with relatively few water hazards compared with the neighboring Pecan Valley course. It plays to roughly 6,845 yards from the back tees. The course is public, part of the Tulsa municipal golf system, with a golf shop, driving range and practice areas shared with Pecan Valley.
