About this course
The North Palm Beach Country Club is a municipally owned facility in Florida, featuring a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course that underwent a significant redesign in 2006 and a subsequent upgrade in 2019. Originally a 1926 Seth Raynor design, the course is situated on a unique natural sand dune, providing elevation changes rarely found in South Florida. The layout is characterized by generous fairways, undulated well-bunkered greens, and strategic water hazards. A defining feature is the 'Bear's Lair,' a challenging finishing stretch spanning holes 14 through 18. The facility is one of only two municipal courses in the United States designed by Nicklaus and is recognized as a notable stop on the Florida Historic Golf Trail. The property also includes a modern 37,000-square-foot clubhouse, ten lighted tennis courts, and a 50-meter lap pool, all open to the general public year-round.

The Fazio is one of the courses at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. George and Tom Fazio designed it as The Haig, a tribute to Walter Hagen, and it opened in 1980 as the resort's first 18-hole course. Tom Fazio II later renovated it and kept the original routing. It plays as a par 72 at 6,977 yards from the back tees. The resort calls the par-5 4th one of the hardest holes on the property.
PGA National Resort (Match Course)
Palm Beach Gardens, FL · 3.1 mi away
The Match Course at PGA National Resort is an Andy Staples design built exclusively for match play, featuring no tee markers, gambling half-par holes, and assertive putting surfaces that reference famous Raynor/Macdonald templates including the Knoll, Biarritz, Redan, and Punchbowl. Built over the top of the resort's former Squire Course, The Match offers a strategic, wit-based counterpoint to the power-demanding Champion Course next door.

PGA National Resort (Champion)
Palm Beach Gardens, FL · 4.9 mi away
The Champion course at PGA National Resort was conceived by Tom and George Fazio for major tournament play. Jack Nicklaus redesigned it in 2014. This 7,045-yard layout is known as 'The Champ.' It features South Florida winds and water hazards. The 'Bear Trap' is a three-hole stretch at holes 15, 16, and 17. Five sets of tees are available. The course has generous landing areas and TifEagle greens. It hosts the PGA TOUR’s Cognizant Classic each spring.
