About this course

Moose Run Golf Course (Hill Course) is an 18-hole, par-72 public course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson near Anchorage, Alaska, part of a 36-hole facility its operator calls the northernmost of its kind in the world.

A company of Army combat engineers built the first nine holes in 1952, and a second nine followed in 1955. The course runs through spruce and birch, with a hilly front nine and a flatter back nine, and plays to roughly 6,500 yards.
