Originally the Galveston Municipal Golf Course, it underwent a $16 million renovation by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design, reopening in June 2008 with paspalum turf, new green complexes, and a rebuilt clubhouse. The seaside layout sits along Sydnor Bayou and plays 6,816 yards from the back tees.
