Monticello Country Club is located on the west side of Monticello, Minnesota, along Golf Course Road, with a layout that winds through mature oaks and includes creeks and ponds crossing several holes.

The club was incorporated and opened in 1969 with an original 9 holes designed by Tim Murphy; the course was expanded to a full 18 holes in 1987 with an addition designed by Joel Goldstrand. Independent course data lists the layout at a par of 71 and about 6,453 yards from the back tees.

Monticello Country Club is semi-private, welcoming both members and public daily-fee play, and includes indoor simulators for winter use, a bar and grill, and event space for outings and weddings.
