About this course

Middletown Country Club sits in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County, on a site the club has occupied since 1913. The course was originally laid out by Scottish architect Alexander Findlay, with nine holes completed in 1913 and a second nine added in 1916; twelve of the original holes are still in play today.

George Fazio renovated several holes during a period of ownership from 1960 into the early 1980s, and later work was done by Stephen Kay and Tyler Rae. The course sits in the rolling Neshaminy Valley, with small, undulating greens and a mix of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies rather than sheer length as its main challenge.

Despite the country club name, Middletown is open to the public with no membership required, a model the club describes as a public country club. It plays to a par of 70 from the back tees at just over 6,000 yards.
