Meadowbrook Golf Course

Fort Worth, TX — Meadowbrook Golf Course is a historic Fort Worth municipal course designed by John Bredemus — often called the Father of Texas Golf — and originally opened in 1924. Eight years before Bredemus built Colonial Country Club, he laid out Meadowbrook's classic parkland routing through east-central Fort Worth. The course recently completed a major renovation that reopened in October 2025, restoring the layout with new greens, tees, fairways, bunkering, drainage, and cart paths while honoring the original Bredemus design philosophy. Meadowbrook plays to par 71 at approximately 6,400 yards and is part of the City of Fort Worth Golf system.
