About this course

McConnellsville Golf Club is located along McConnellsville Road in Blossvale, New York, in the Mohawk Valley area near Rome. The club traces to 1941, when the McConnell and Charboneau farms were converted into a nine-hole course financed by the Frank S. Harden furniture company and the Camden Wire Company. The old Charboneau farmhouse served as the clubhouse for over twenty years before a new clubhouse was built in 1964.

A second nine was added in the late 1960s on land donated by the Harden family, designed by Pete Grygiel and Frank Clark and completed in 1969, on rolling former farmland with mature trees framing many holes.

Ownership passed to the Bowman family in 2022, who updated the clubhouse. McConnellsville operates as a public facility offering daily green fees, memberships, leagues, and outings, with a restaurant and pro shop on site.
