Longbow Golf Club
East Valley desert golf at a great value
About this course
Longbow Golf Club is a public course in Mesa, Arizona, east of Phoenix, built on mild desert terrain near Falcon Field. It first opened in 1997, when the surrounding land was owned by Boeing and the course was named for the company's AH-64D Longbow Apache helicopters. Architect Ken Kavanaugh designed the original layout and returned in 2003 to redesign the course as the centerpiece of a new business park, reusing several of the original holes in a new routing.
The course plays as a desert-style layout with well-bunkered, undulating Bermuda grass greens and no homes lining the interior holes, making it feel more open than many valley courses. It stretches to roughly 7,000 yards from the back tees and has hosted regional qualifying events, with a clubhouse, restaurant and practice range available to public play.

A newer clubhouse was built in 2009. The course is associated with the surrounding community and offers membership options alongside outside play.
