About this course
Laurel Hill Golf Club is a Fairfax County Park Authority course located on Laurel Crest Drive in Lorton, Virginia, built on land that formerly housed a D.C. Department of Corrections facility. Architect Bill Love, whose other credits include courses at Penn National and Hunting Hawk, designed the 18-hole layout to follow the natural contours of the property.
The course plays to a par of 71 and includes practice facilities along with a large clubhouse that houses the Tower Grill restaurant, which is open to the public for meals beyond golf.
As a county-operated facility, Laurel Hill is open daily to public play, with the course generally available from dawn to dusk and closed for maintenance on Tuesday mornings.

Old Hickory Golf Club is an upscale daily-fee course in Woodbridge, Virginia, in Prince William County, set on gently rolling terrain covered with pine, oak, maple and hickory. The course was designed by architect Tim Freeland, who had worked with Gary Player's design firm and also designed sister course Raspberry Falls, and opened in July 2003. The par-72 layout stretches to 7,190 yards from the back tees, with wide, mounded fairways and A4 bentgrass greens. Four sets of tees accommodate a range of abilities, and the club also hosts weddings and outings.
