La Paloma Country Club is a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature facility in the foothills of Tucson's Santa Catalina Mountains. The Ridge and Canyon nines opened in 1984, with the Hill nine added later. The course works through rugged desert, with the Canyon nine known for forced carries and the Ridge nine for elevated tees.
