The Starboard Course is particularly known for its exciting and challenging blend of holes, culminating in a fantastic finishing stretch along the lake. Its signature hole, the par-3 17th, famously dubbed "Buccaneers Cove," is a visually stunning and demanding hole where a precise middle iron shot is required to carry a portion of Lake Calumet to a well-guarded green. This hole, along with the strong three-hole finish, makes the Starboard a true test of nerve and skill.
