About this course
Glacier Park Lodge Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-36 course in East Glacier Park, Montana, built by the Great Northern Railway in 1928 alongside the historic Glacier Park Lodge. Named "Oom-coo-ska-pes-che," or Big Green Blanket, by Blackfeet Chief Earl Old Person, it is the oldest grass-greens golf course in Montana, with each hole named for a former chief of the Blackfeet Nation. The course sits just outside Glacier National Park and offers mountain views across undulating greens and wide fairways. It remains a seasonal amenity of the historic lodge.
