About this course
Eagle Mountain Golf Club, a Scott Miller design in Fountain Hills, offers a more forgiving desert experience. The 6,800-yard, par-71 layout has few forced carries. Elevated tees provide views of the McDowell Mountains. This course rewards strategic play over raw power.

SunRidge Canyon Golf Club
Fountain Hills, AZ · 2.2 mi away
SunRidge Canyon Golf Club is a public course in Fountain Hills, Arizona, set among ridges and canyons in the desert terrain between Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. It was designed by Keith Foster and opened in 1995. The par-71 course plays 7,002 yards from the back tees and descends through the property before climbing back up on the return nine. Elevation changes, natural washes, and stacked sod bunkers appear throughout, and the closing run of holes 13 through 18 is known locally as the Wicked Six. SunRidge Canyon is open to public play, includes a bar and grill, and has hosted the 2014 PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada and the 1997 USGA Men's State Team Championship.

We-Ko-Pa Golf Club: Saguaro
Fort McDowell, AZ · 4.9 mi away
Saguaro at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club sits on Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation land northeast of Scottsdale, Arizona. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw designed it, and it opened in 2006 as the second course at the club. There is no housing and no development of any kind visible from the course, which is unusual in the Phoenix area, and the routing was laid out to stay on the natural desert grade. Fairways run into one another, the transitions to native desert are ragged rather than manicured, and the greens are open in front so the ball can be played along the ground. Saguaro is genuinely walkable, which almost no desert course is, and caddies are available. It is the shorter and lower-profile of the two courses at We-Ko-Pa, alongside the Cholla course, and both are daily fee.
We-Ko-Pa Golf Club (Cholla)
Fort McDowell, AZ · 4.9 mi away
The Cholla Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is an 18-hole resort course in Fort McDowell, Arizona, on land of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. It was designed by Scott Miller and opened in December 2001 as the club's first course. Cholla is a par 72 of about 7,225 yards, routed through desert arroyos and over ridges with no houses or roads in view. The club's second course, Saguaro, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, opened in 2006.
