Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links
Berlin, MD · 3.1 mi away
Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links runs along Sinepuxent Bay in Berlin, Maryland, just inland from Assateague Island. Pete Dye and P.B. Dye designed the 18-hole par 72, which opened in 1997 and plays to about 7,001 yards. The property is flat, open and treeless, with water in view on most of the round and the Assateague dunes across the bay. Nearly every hole is exposed to the sea breeze, and the Dyes used low mounding, waste areas and long bunkers rather than forced carries, so the course stays playable when the wind is up. Rum Pointe is open to public play.
Ocean City Golf Club (Newport Bay)
Berlin, MD · 4.7 mi away
Ocean City Golf Club's Newport Bay Course is located in Berlin, Maryland, part of a 36-hole public facility near Ocean City. Originally known as the Bayside Course, it was completely redesigned by architect Lester George, who rerouted the layout to open up views across Newport Bay and the surrounding marsh. The par-72 course plays across open, breezy terrain typical of Maryland's coastal lowlands. It has been recognized in the past among notable new-course projects for its redesign work.

The club markets it as suited to golfers of varying skill levels. It remains open to public play year-round.
