Diamond Springs Golf Course

Hamilton, MI — A minimalist masterpiece cut from the oak and pine sandhills of the Allegan State Game Area, Diamond Springs was co-designed by Kris Shumaker and Mike DeVries and opened in 2002. Set on 250 acres 40 minutes southwest of Grand Rapids, the course features just two heights of cut — greens and everything else — keeping maintenance costs low and green fees affordable (topping out at $50 walking). Ranked #19 in Michigan by GolfWeek and featured in Golf Digest, Diamond Springs is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of modern architectural minimalism in American golf.
