Dakota Winds Golf Course is an 18-hole course at Dakota Magic Casino & Hotel near Hankinson, North Dakota, close to the South Dakota border. Designed by Joel Goldstrand and opened in 2004 on 165 acres, it plays up to about 7,000 yards from the back tees. The course is reversible, so the back nine can be played as two different routings on alternating days, giving golfers two layouts in effect. Rolling terrain is dotted with ponds and creeks, with fairway grasses ranging from prairie and fescue rough to bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens. A pro shop and on-site tavern serve golfers after their round.
