About this course

Crossroads Golf Course in Glen Ullin was constructed along the banks of the Railroad Dam and Big Muddy Creek. Work on the original sand greens began in 1981 and the course officially opened for play in 1983. The facility was later converted to grass greens in the mid-1990s and an irrigation system was installed to maintain the playing surfaces. The nine hole par 36 layout measures 3,055 yards and is operated primarily by community volunteers. The course serves as a practice facility for local school teams and is open to the public with no tee times required. The clubhouse was recently remodeled with support from local community funding.

Square Butte Creek Golf Course

Center, ND · 33 mi away

Square Butte Creek Golf Course in Center offers a hilly nine hole layout that was established in 1982. The course is famous for its unique opening hole which requires a downhill tee shot from a high point in front of the clubhouse to a green resting 100 feet below. The green sits adjacent to Square Butte Creek though the water is rarely in play. Originally built with sand greens, the facility has since transitioned to grass putting surfaces. The layout includes significant elevation changes and several blind shots that require careful wind control.
