About this course
Cross Timbers Golf Course is a public, 18-hole, par-72 course in Azle, Texas, convenient to Fort Worth, Weatherford, Springtown and Lake Worth. Designed by Jeffrey Brauer, it opened in 1995 along Ash Creek in the hilly, wooded Cross Timbers region of north Texas, with elevation changes that give it a hill country feel.
The course features Champion Bermuda greens, undulating fairways and strategic bunkering. It is the home course of Robert Landers, an Azle farmer who went on to play the Senior PGA Tour. Tee times can be booked up to seven days in advance, and the course is open daily from around 7 a.m. to sundown.
