About this course

Cherokee Run Golf Club in Conyers occupies rolling, granite-outcropped terrain within the Georgia International Horse Park, the venue for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics equestrian events. Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the course, which opened in 1995 and plays to about 7,000 yards at par 72. Crenshaw bentgrass greens and zoysia fairways wind through wetlands and wooded hills east of Atlanta. The semi-private club remains open to public play, and its Olympic-era pedigree is still reflected in the property's name and surrounding grounds.
