About this course
The Canyons Golf Course is located at Park City Mountain Resort in Park City, Utah, opened in 2014. It was designed by Gene Bates along with co-architect Casey Bates, who routed several holes directly onto terrain used for skiing in winter.
The course covers more than 550 feet of elevation change across a compact 97-acre footprint, with the front holes running through the ski runs and big mountain views throughout. It features seven par-3 holes, a notable share for an 18-hole layout, along with an island green on the par-5 18th surrounded by Willow Draw Stream. Crushed rock excavated on site was used for cart paths and bunker edging.
Canyons Golf operates as a public resort course open to visitors as well as resort guests, with tee times bookable through the golf shop. A collared shirt dress code applies and denim is not permitted.
