About this course
Buck Hill Golf Club is located in Buck Hill Falls, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountains, on wooded mountainside terrain within a longtime cottage and resort community founded by Philadelphia Quakers in the early 1900s.
Robert White laid out the original nine holes in 1907, and Donald Ross added two more nines about twenty-five years later, giving the property its current 27-hole configuration across the White, Red and Blue courses.
The Ross-designed courses underwent a multi-year restoration completed in 2022 with architect Rees Jones. Play is available to members and guests of the Buck Hill Falls community, with practice areas and a clubhouse serving all three nines.

Great Bear Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole golf course in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1997. Nicklaus personally surveyed the former farmland site in the Pocono Mountains during design in 1994, and construction contended with extensive rock excavation on the property.
