Bryce Resort's golf course is located in Basye, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley, as part of a four-season resort that also offers skiing and other outdoor recreation. The course was designed by Edmund B. Ault and opened in the early 1970s.
The layout runs through tree-lined corridors with mountain views, and Stony Creek comes into play on several holes across the front and back nines. Fairway bunkers and a compact routing keep the course a manageable walk for a mountain layout.
The course plays to a par of 71 from the back tees and is open daily to the public with cart and walking play available. A practice tee and putting green sit near the clubhouse, and tee times can be booked up to ten days in advance.

The grounds include a Colonial Revival lodge dating to the 1920s and later motel buildings, and the whole complex is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
