About this course

Breakfast Hill Golf Club is a Brian Silva-designed public course in Greenland, New Hampshire, that opened in 2000. The par 71 layout sits on 170 acres of land that had been family-owned for more than 250 years and was previously working farmland until 1956. The course winds through tall pines and wooded New England terrain, with exposed granite outcroppings adding a distinctly local character.

The 6,493-yard layout places a premium on accuracy, with tree-lined fairways, strategic doglegs and relatively small, contoured greens. Breakfast Hill has earned recognition as a top daily-fee facility, including Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play" and repeated recognition from Golf Magazine and Golf.com. It also hosted the New Hampshire Open in 2022, bringing 156 players, including 119 professionals, to the course.

Pease Golf Course

Portsmouth, NH · 3.0 mi away

Pease Golf Course occupies land in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, that has been used for golf since 1901, when the first nine holes were designed by Alexander Findlay as part of what was then Portsmouth Country Club. A second nine was added in 1931, and the Air Force later operated the site as Pease Air Force Base Golf Course before it passed to the Pease Development Authority in 1991. The facility today has 27 holes across three connected nines, with combined 18-hole routings playing to a par around 71. The layout runs through wooded terrain with streams crossing several holes. Pease is open to public play with online and phone tee time booking, a large driving range, indoor golf simulators, and Grill 28, a year-round public restaurant and bar on site.

Links at Outlook

South Berwick, ME · 13 mi away

The Links at Outlook is a public eighteen in South Berwick, built in a Scottish links style and within easy reach of both Boston and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The course plays to a par of 71 and roughly 6,400 yards, with open, rolling terrain typical of the seaside links tradition it references. Its location near southern Maine's coastal towns, including Kittery, York and Ogunquit, makes it a convenient stop for visiting golfers. The mix of holes tests shot placement over sheer length, and it operates as a daily-fee facility open to all.

The Ledges Golf Club

York, ME · 13 mi away

The Ledges Golf Club is a public eighteen in York, designed by William Bradley Booth and carved from hilly, ledge-rock terrain that gives the club its name. Fairways and greens rise and fall across the rocky landscape, with some putting surfaces set into sculpted rock outcroppings. It took roughly seven years of planning and construction for developer Pat Rocheleau and partners to bring the course to completion. The layout balances a daily-fee model with membership options, and its varied terrain distinguishes it from the flatter courses along southern Maine's shoreline.
