The par 71 layout sits on 170 acres of land that had been family-owned for more than 250 years and was previously working farmland until 1956. The course winds through tall pines and wooded New England terrain, with exposed granite outcroppings adding a distinctly local character. The 6,493-yard layout places a premium on accuracy, with tree-lined fairways, strategic doglegs and relatively small, contoured greens. Breakfast Hill has earned recognition as a top daily-fee facility, including Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play" and repeated recognition from Golf Magazine and Golf.com. It also hosted the New Hampshire Open in 2022, bringing 156 players, including 119 professionals, to the course.

North Conway, NH

Hale's Location Golf Course sits in the White Mountains near North Conway, New Hampshire, in the small township of Hale's Location, framed by White Horse Ledge and Cathedral Ledge. The course and the adjoining White Mountain Hotel both opened in 1990, developed by owner Gary Sullivan. Designed by architect Albert Zikorus, the nine-hole layout plays to a par of 70 at about 5,820 yards, with narrow, tree-lined fairways and consistent mountain views from every hole. It draws roughly 7,000 rounds a year despite being lightly known outside the region. Hale's Location operates as a public course tied to the hotel, with the White Mountain Hotel serving as its clubhouse and 19th hole for visiting golfers.

Plymouth, MA

Southers Marsh Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Plymouth, Massachusetts, built around the Stearns family's century-old cranberry bogs. The course opened in July 2001 after being shaped by architects Dahn Tibbett and Nick Filla, on land the family kept in production as an alternative to selling it when the cranberry industry declined. Southers Marsh is an executive-style layout, playing to a par of 61 over 4,111 yards from the back tees, making it shorter than a traditional championship course while still asking golfers to use most of their clubs. The routing winds around the working bogs and through tree-lined corridors across 116 acres. The course operates as a public, family-run facility and added an indoor hitting-bay building called The Barn in 2020 for practice in cooler weather. Four sets of tees accommodate a range of playing abilities.

Halifax, MA

Country Club of Halifax is an 18-hole golf course in Halifax, Massachusetts, on the South Shore between Boston and Cape Cod. The course was originally designed by architect Phil Wogan in 1966 and stretches to roughly 6,700 yards from the back tees at par 72, with four sets of tees serving golfers of varying abilities. Amenities include a pro shop, driving range and practice areas. While it operates with a membership program, the club also makes tee times available to the public through outside booking services. It is located at 100 Country Club Drive in Halifax.

Vassalboro, ME

Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro, north of Augusta, is Maine's largest golf facility with 36 holes across two courses.
