About this course
Braemar Golf Course is a public, city-owned facility in Edina, Minnesota, set within the 500-acre Braemar Park amid rolling hills and oak ridges southwest of Minneapolis. Opened in 1964 on land once used as a sheep and cattle ranch, the course has hosted the 1969 Minnesota Golf Classic and the 1979 U. S. Women's Amateur Public Links. Originally built as a 27-hole facility, it was reconfigured into an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by architect Richard Mandell. Owned by the City of Edina, Braemar remains one of the Twin Cities' longest-running municipal golf destinations.
