Their design philosophy was to create a course that was fun and playable for all skill levels, while still offering a challenge to the best players. The course is known for its wide fairways, large greens, and beautiful setting among the pines and oaks of St. Simons Island. The Love brothers' deep connection to the property is evident in the thoughtful design, which has a classic, old-school feel. The Retreat Course is a perfect complement to the other courses at Sea Island and is a great place to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable round of golf.
