Old Hickory Golf Club is an upscale daily-fee course in Woodbridge, Virginia, in Prince William County, set on gently rolling terrain covered with pine, oak, maple and hickory. Beaver Creek bisects the property, with about nine holes on each side. The course was designed by architect Tim Freeland, who had worked with Gary Player's design firm and also designed sister course Raspberry Falls, and opened in July 2003. Freeland incorporated tributary creeks into several holes rather than moving earth, and housing sites were set back along the higher side of fairways. The par-72 layout stretches to 7,190 yards from the back tees, with wide, mounded fairways and A4 bentgrass greens.
