Old American Golf Club sits along the shore of Lewisville Lake in The Colony, north of Dallas, on sandy, links-like ground. Tripp Davis and Justin Leonard designed it together and it opened in 2010, shaped deliberately to evoke 1920s and 1930s design rather than modern resort styling. Naturally formed bunkers, native grasses and open lakeside exposure give the round a wind-driven quality. It plays 7,084 yards at a par of 71 from the championship tees. The club hosted the LPGA Tour's Volunteers of America Texas Classic in 2018.

Grove, OK

Patricia Island Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Grove, Oklahoma, on the Grand Lake shoreline in the northeastern part of the state. It opened in 1998 and was designed by architect Tripp Davis, with a routing that takes in lake views near the Pensacola Dam. The course plays to a par of 72 with yardages in the 6,362 to 6,806 range depending on tee selection. Amenities include a driving range, putting and chipping greens, a pro shop, and Mulligans Restaurant on site. The club welcomes public and group play alongside outings and tournaments, and is often described locally as semi-private though also marketed under a country club name.

The Colony, TX

The Tribute occupies a peninsula jutting into Lewisville Lake in The Colony, north of Dallas, designed by Tripp Davis around the idea of paying homage to famous holes from British and Irish links. Open, treeless terrain and lake-adjacent fairways create an exposed, wind-driven test uncommon for North Texas. Firm, undulating ground and large green complexes reward positional play over length, and the course runs to 7,002 yards at a par of 72. It opened in 2003 as the first of two 18-hole courses at the Tribute property. The tribute holes are interpretations rather than replicas, adapted to the site.

Boerne, TX

Tapatio Springs Resort operates an 18-hole golf course in Boerne, Texas, in the Hill Country northwest of San Antonio. The Resort Course meanders through rolling terrain and stands of live oaks and was redesigned by architect Tripp Davis. The layout is managed by Troon and is set up to accommodate players of varying abilities, with the course forming part of a larger resort property that also includes lodging, dining and a driving range. The course is open to daily public play in addition to resort guests and club members, with tee times bookable up to two weeks ahead for guests and about a week ahead for the public.

Cedar Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71 public golf course in Ottumwa, Iowa, originally opened in 1931-32. The course plays 6,456 yards from the blue tees with a 70.4 rating and 122 slope, and includes a driving range, practice greens, and bunkers, with recently renovated fairways and tees.

The Golf Club at Champions Circle is a public course in far north Fort Worth, next to Texas Motor Speedway. The par-72 layout plays to about 7,000 yards from the tips over open, rolling terrain with links-style bunkering and constant wind, and race fans can see the speedway grandstands from several holes.
