Phoenician Golf Club

Scottsdale, AZ

The Phoenician Golf Club is an 18-hole resort course at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. It reopened in November 2018 after a 10-month redesign by architect Phil Smith, who cut the resort's original 27 holes to a single 18-hole routing on the existing fairway corridors. The renovation rebuilt the green complexes and recontoured fairways so bunkers and hazards are visible from the tee, with no blind shots. The course plays to a par of 71 from roughly 4,575 to 6,518 yards. It sits within the resort's Sonoran Desert grounds at 6000 East Camelback Road.

Sand Canyon Country Club

Santa Clarita, CA

Sand Canyon Country Club is a 27-hole public golf facility in Santa Clarita, California, roughly 35 minutes north of Los Angeles amid the Angeles National Forest foothills. The property was previously known as Robinson Ranch Golf Club before new ownership reopened it to the public under its current name. The facility is split into three nines, commonly paired as Valley, Desert and Mountain combinations, giving golfers different routing options and terrain character across the property. The par-71 combinations play through canyon and foothill landscape typical of the region, with generous elevation change between holes. Amenities include a driving range with shaded hitting bays, a full-service cafe, and a golf shop. Sand Canyon operates as public daily-fee golf with tee time management in two waves to help pace of play across the 27-hole layout.

Singing Hills Golf Club

El Cajon, CA

Singing Hills Golf Club sits in the Dehesa Valley near El Cajon, California, and includes 45 holes across three courses, Oak Glen, Pine Glen, and Willow Glen. Cecil Hollingsworth and partners opened the first course, now Oak Glen, on January 26, 1956, with the par-3 Pine Glen following in 1961 and Willow Glen in 1967. A flood in the winter of 1979-80 washed away about 40 acres of the property and damaged 40 of the 54 holes, after which architect Ted Robinson rebuilt all three courses. The club was purchased by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation in 2001 and celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2026.
