Horse Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole public course owned by the City of Dora, Alabama, located between Jasper and Birmingham just off Interstate 22. It opened in 2000 and plays to about 6,883 yards from the longest tees with a par of 72. The course is a municipal layout known locally for its affordability and well-kept greens. A newer clubhouse and event room, added in 2017, hosts weddings, reunions, and corporate gatherings alongside the course's pro shop, driving range, and snack bar. The facility operates seven days a week and offers weekday, weekend, and senior green fee rates. It is promoted by the city as an under-the-radar option among Alabama's public courses, drawing golfers from the greater Birmingham area for its value and condition.
