Black Swan Country Club

Georgetown, MA

Black Swan Country Club sits on 120 acres in Georgetown, Massachusetts, about 30 miles north of Boston, with a large Victorian-style clubhouse overlooking the golf course. The property was previously home to a private club known as the Georgetown Club, which closed in 2009. The 18-hole course was designed by New England architect Philip Wogan and first opened around 1990. New ownership reopened it to the public in 2010 and has since renovated tee boxes, green complexes and bunkers, lengthening several holes along the way. Black Swan plays to a par of 72 and stretches to roughly 6,800 yards from the back tees, with water crossing many holes and a series of bridges connecting them. The club operates as a semi-private facility open to public play alongside its membership, and it also hosts weddings and other events.
