Tiburon Golf Club - Hammerhead Course

Omaha, NE

The Hammerhead nine is one of three nine-hole courses at Tiburon Golf Club in Omaha, Nebraska. Tiburon opened in 1989 as an 18-hole course on former farmland and expanded to its current 27-hole layout with a third nine added in 1994, set across rolling hills and lakes. Hammerhead plays to a par of 36 and can be paired with the club's Mako and Great White nines for an 18-hole round. New ownership in 2004 brought a clubhouse renovation and updated amenities, including Shark's Sports Bar & Grill. Tiburon operates as a semi-private club, open to the public alongside its membership.

Boulder City Golf Course

Boulder City, NV

Boulder Creek Golf Club sits in the Eldorado Valley outside Boulder City, Nevada, a short drive from Las Vegas. The municipal facility opened in January 2003 on desert terrain shaped by arroyos, and the routing incorporates lakes and waterfalls within the surrounding Mojave landscape. The course was designed by architect Mark Rathert and comprises three nine-hole loops, Desert Hawk, Coyote Run and Eldorado Valley, that can be combined into 18-hole rounds totaling 72 par. Fairways vary from generous to tighter arroyo-lined stretches, with water features framing several opening and closing holes. Owned by the City of Boulder City, the course is open to public play with tee times available to residents and visitors. It has hosted collegiate and amateur championships, including NCAA Division II and III events, and serves as a Monday qualifying site for PGA Tour events based in Las Vegas.
